ABOUT PHOENIX RISING WELLNESS AND FITNESS


Phoenix Rising Wellness & Fitness operates differently than a traditional gym.

Every group fitness class is coach-led. 

Rather than contracts or constant promotions, we offer drop-ins and class packs for flexibility, while keeping memberships as the best value for those seeking consistency and connection. No matter how you choose to engage with us, you are guaranteed:

  • A sustainable business model that allows this community to exist long-term


Founded by Ashley, an Army Veteran, certified fitness coach, and yoga instructor with years of experience in numerous modalities of movement, Phoenix Rising was created for people who want more than just a workout. Based in beautiful Viera, FL, we are located at the Viera Regional Park and we conduct most of our movement classes at the scenic Lake Pavilion. This is a place to rebuild strength and restore confidence, all while reconnecting with your body through intentional movement.


Our approach seamlessly blends structured strength training, high-energy workouts, yoga classes, mobility, and recovery-focused sessions. Every class is designed to challenge you while also respecting your body—because progress isn’t about burnout, extremes, or punishment. It’s about consistency, support, and showing up as you are. And it's a heck of a lot of fun!


Whether you’re lifting weights, flowing through yoga, or pushing through a circuit, you’ll be coached with purpose and compassion. We believe fitness should empower you—not break you down.

About the Coaches

Coach Ashley - Owner/Head Coach


I’m Ashley — a fitness coach, certified yoga instructor, and Army Veteran. After more than 25 years exploring nearly every training style imaginable, I’ve learned this: real transformation isn’t just physical. After years of battling alcoholism, depression, and anxiety, I learned that true healing is holistic. It requires intentional movement, accountability, and community. We aren’t meant to do this alone — we need to move our bodies, support one another, and rise together.


Phoenix Rising Wellness & Fitness was created for people who are ready to rebuild — strength, confidence, mindset, and identity. My coaching blends functional fitness, strength training, mobility, and yoga classes to help you rise from wherever you are and become who you’re meant to be.


This is more than movement. It’s release. It’s resilience. It’s rebirth.

Coach Mary - Assistant Coach


Mary’s journey into fitness began with her own powerful transformation—losing over 70 pounds and discovering firsthand how intentional movement, strength training, and consistency can change not just a body, but a life. That experience shaped her coaching philosophy: train smart, move well, and build strength that carries into everyday life.


She is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with over four years of experience as a functional movement coach and a year leading high-energy bootcamp workouts. Mary is also a certified belly dance instructor (certified in 2019) and a beginner running coach, bringing a unique blend of strength, mobility, endurance, and expressive movement into her coaching.


At Phoenix Rising Wellness and Fitness, Mary takes a holistic approach to training. Whether she’s coaching functional strength, leading dynamic group workouts, improving movement quality, or guiding clients toward new performance goals, her focus is on building resilient bodies, confident minds, and sustainable habits.


Her mission is to make fitness empowering, effective, and accessible—meeting people where they are and helping them rise stronger, healthier, and more confident than they were before. She’s here to challenge you, support you, and walk beside you as you rebuild, redefine, and rise, whether through strength training, yoga classes, or engaging bootcamp workouts.

We Do Events OUTSIDE of Class Too!

Because we love the community vibe and are obviously HUGE proponents of being out in nature, we do events outside of class, such as Bootcamp on the Beach - A few times a year, we gather on the shores of our beautiful beaches for bootcamp workouts that include exercise, stretching, and socializing, followed by some delicious food! BCOTB is highly regarded as one of our most popular and anticipated events, where participants can also enjoy yoga classes and strength training sessions. We also do hiking trips, and are working on organizing trips to the Springs as well.
